For the first 7 years we operated our wildlife cruises from Tobermory aboard our classic gaff ketch, Solais Na Mara . She was a
lovely old boat but has now moved on to a good home in Ramsgate Harbour
for the Sea Cadets to practise their traditional boat skills.
She was enjoyed by many of our regular passengers but, in the interests
of trying to develop our business and giving our passengers the best
possible wildlife experience, we purchased Hebridean Explorer. She
has proved perfect for our cruises and we had a very successful 2010
season with her.
She has the enhanced benefits of a deck saloon and covered aft deck in
the event of inclement weather. Also there is a full top deck with
comfortable seating which, providing sea conditions are suitable, will
allow a perfect raised viewing area to enjoy the beautiful scenery and
wildlife. She also gives us the opportunity for extended cruises
within the Inner Hebrides. |
